How to Finally Reach Your Goal

Do you have something you want to be doing, but can’t get yourself to do it? Life coaching is the solution for any of those problems. It can also help you stop doing the things you don’t want to be doing.

For example, it can help you stick to a budget, stop yelling at your kids, figure out what makes you happy, be a better mom, have better relationships, etc. Have you seen “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”? Well the bride’s dad thinks that Windex can fix anything, even zits on your face. I know I sound like that when I talk about life coaching. But really if it involves a your brain, it probably can help.

Their are a few exceptions, as a Life Coach I am not a therapist. I can’t do everything, but if you are a normal functioning person it can help.

What is Life Coaching

With life coaching we have a conversation. With that conversation I help you see how your brain is functioning and why you are doing what you do. Then you get to decide if you like that or if you want a different result. If you want a different result then we work towards that.

Now if you are like me, you might be thinking I can do that on my own, save a little money. I’d rather do something else with my money.

Different Levels of Help for your Goals

Life coaching is kind of like getting a personal trainer or attending a group fitness class. Yes you can YouTube videos or look on Pinterest for workouts and start working out. You have good odds of making some progress towards being stronger. But you might question what you are doing, is it the correct way, or the best way, am I hurting myself and without realizing it.

Or you can join a fitness class. Now you know you are hitting all the major muscle groups. You have someone with fitness knowledge directing you. However you are in a group setting so you have a generalized plan. You might be going faster than your body can handle or not intense enough.

The third option would be to get a personal trainer. This person creates a customized plan for your body, pushes you when you need, answers all your questions, etc. With a personal trainer, you have all the pieces to the puzzle and are set up for success.

Life coaching is the same. You can do it on your little by little. Go to a group coaching program and get generalized help or hire a one on one coach. With a one on one coach, they can see where you are missing steps, guide you, gain from their expertise, and make progress much quicker.

The question becomes how fast and thoroughly do I want to make progress on my goals?
